Hey Luck,
long time no see. As you know we've always been zero tolerance on bots. It's nothing personal at all - you're an old friend of many of us on halo, and we know that you're a good player, and one not usually given to cheating.
I also believe you when you say you've just recently tried the bot. Halo is an old game, and sometimes you want to try something to keep it fresh.
But we've worked so hard to have a clan and server free from bots that we really can't do anything else. For the moment at least, we'd appreciate it if you could leave the clan tags aside. As Papa points out, it's been a while since you called by anyway. I won't, however, ban you from the forums.

So were going to ban someone for a lousy aimbot? No second chances? Didn't know this clan kicks out good freinds, for a lousy foolish pointless game.

Have you even heard what Paramo said? You weren't there, so you don't know what efforts we made(actually it's more like they  ) to get rid of bots and get the servers as clean as possible. We do appreciate LuCk, but when it comes to cheating we can't afford making any exceptions, even if it saddens us most. |

I could care less if you banend a random person off the server, but a ='= member is some thing different. |

Yeah, I know it feels tough, but that's the way it has to be. It doesn't stop us being friends with Danny, and playing with him. But right from the beginning we've made sure none of our players have used bots in public servers. It doesn't mean he's out for ever, but he does have to lay the tags aside a while. I'm sad about it too, and don't like doing it, but if we start to make exceptions it just makes us hypocrites. |

Sorry for responding on this so late, but I got something to say.
first of I don't really care if LucK gets kicked or not, no offense but I don't really know you..
He has tried the bot once in a pub. and unfornitaly for him he got caught. I think almost everyone I used to know from halo has used a bot in a pub once or twice. I'm pretty sure NSFW and Muffin have used it in a pub, although they probably won't admit it.
Since he is kicked out of the clan for using it only once, I should be kicked too. I have also used it once or twice in a pub couple of years ago when it first came out. For the same reason I started to smoke and use drugs. Curiosity.
If he had been seen using it more than once then it's a different story. And with players you don't know it's normal to just ban them immediatly, but for a clan member I agree with Winner. So please reconsider.
I am not truly sure why I posted this, because it is probably getting me kicked out of ='=..
I guess to spice things up a bit. (A sentence no one will probably understand)

I'm pretty sure NSFW and Muffin have used it in a pub, although they probably won't admit it. greetz, BaiT I never denied it, i've used it in pubs too, but never on serious servers (='=/e0/$7/35'/RSF etc.), and ofcourse always undercover . But I think everybody has used it on pubs (even the once that only say in private). You must have used it to know it and see if someone else is using it.. I always say: 'on bungie servers you are safe =)' |

 I'm not so happy about this. I know it's an old game, I know some of you guys may have messed around with a bot in the past, and some of you have used it to get a better idea how they work. But just to be clear - anyone caught botting will be kicked from the clan. Maybe it matters less now (even more so when we no longer have a server), but if you get caught using one you aren't doing much good for the reputation of the clan, which does matter a little to me. And yes, there is a difference between skillful players messing around with a bot once in a while, and players persistently using it to try and get an edge. I'm not starting to kick anyone retrospectively, and Luck hasn't been kicked from the servers or the forums (and may well rejoin sometime). But there shouldn't be any reason for any ='= members to be using a bot in a public server now. Yadda yadda.

Alright, a rule is a rule. And it's not like I'm total against that rule.
99% of the time people will not use their real name, so when caught and banned they stay safe. I'm sorry if it shocks you, but almost every skilled player that has played halo for several years has used the bot once or twice. That's why I pointed out Muffin and NSFW. Most players don't even care about this game anymore, so if they get banned or if it is revealed who they are, they don't even care. That's why you sometimes catch skilled players with a bot, people you know by name and fame.
Kinda ironic that we are the ones banning other people for that same reason.
One point in my defense though. Back when it was first out everyone wanted to try the bot and everyone was sending links to download it to each other. It wasn't as taboo as it got later. But it's still cheating..
I've been playing this game for like 5 years I know almost every trick and hack there is. If something new comes along I will try it out also, good or bad.
It is a shame that LucK was discovoured, that does give the clan bad rep. But only a few people know I guess, so no worries.
Personally I think the aimbot has helped halo survive for as long as it lasted. It was exciting and everyone was talking about it. Some people even just go to servers to catch botters or because you can bot at this game they play it. And people always have things to say when they get beaten.
The aimbot is hard to resist, but once you used it it gets boring after an hour maybe two. That's why I don't believe that there are players out there, that use the bot more than a handfull times, a few maybe that try to perfect their hidance of using it. So my theory is that most botters that we or other admins ban are using the bot for the first till fivth time. O well just a theory

Guys listen to Paramo. For as intelligent as you all are, he is the chosen leader and a ADULT. (I don't give a F if you're 21 you're still a kid! )
At the end of the day Halo is a old game which no-one really plays anymore. If you want to talk about people trying this and that (cheats) as soon as they're released that's fine. BUT this clan was set up for mates who didn't cheat, were bloody good at the game (including myself once upon a time) - that's why ='= was made. Not so people could do what they wanted behind it's back.
I'm really dissapointed with the fact you all have cheated. IMO it's LAME. I also don't give a flying F if you care or not. For me here in ='= there are only a few that are true to the word. When PaniC got caught EVERYONE was itching to get him banned- including you Bait- Now you'll come out of the woodwork saying you've cheated-LAME.
Their is only one thing I agree with. Using it to learn to spot others. NOT to use it in game. If you're at your pinnacle with Halo move to another game.
Anyway f**k it. The servers been cancelled and will not continue after March.
