have noe got a sniper slayer running on timberland and have got rid of the infinity ctf...at least will have when i've reset the server......ideas welcome...!

That's cool - tho' actually, I really liked having a king of the hill game on there. How about:
Hang em high snipers (instead of gephyrphobiathingymajig)?
And then switch timberland back to king.
plus keeping DC and BG, of course...

Timber - king
BG - slayer
DC - CTF
BG - team slayer
Timber - slayer
then change gephyrphobia to hang em high and also add BA (boarding action) and mayb battle creek shotguns and nades (unmodded of couse)
edit - and ow yea team slayer on BG to 50 kills and maybe timber king to 5 mins?

No Sidewinder? That map is so much fun, especially for snipers. Ice fields is also cool, I think. Either one of those maps in pro snipe style (no shields, no vehicles, only snipers and pistols) would be kick ass I think.
I still haven't had a chance to check out the server. I tried today but our internet here is on the fritz really bad right now. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll be able to pop in.

if im right the map cycle at this very moment is the following: (but not in this order) BG - team slayer - no shields (sniper and pistols) BG - slayer - shields (sniper and pistols) DC - CTF - modded (standard weps) Hang em High - team slayer - no shields (sniper and pistols) Timber - team slayer - no shields (sniper and pistols) Beaver Creek - slayer - shields (shoties) BA - team slayer - no shields (sniper and pistols) hope you do come on as i never got a changce to have that game with you  and i am likely to be on tomos yea and sidewinder i like the sound of! |

i like mannys ideas of dc and bg and hang em high ... but 1 of my faveroute maps is GET OFF MY BRIDGE and i av the map to make the hill be on the bridge if u wont it .... its no shields pistols but u can pick up snipers and rods do no damage at all

hmmm........what does everyone else think.....oh and has anyone got any idea where i can get the original maps from...cos i've overwritten most of mine with modded 1s...didn't back them up...daft or what?...but the ss mods on standard maps are making me crazy.......

If you want the original maps again OMG LOL I can mail them to you if you like - Let me know what one's you need?
In Pure DC the Machine Gun is super powerful - perhaps a bit too much?
In BG/Slayer the Pistols seem too powerful, there are not enough sniper weapons for reloading. It annoyed me so much that I had to leave ;(
Just my thoughts on these maps
Lemme know about the Orgi Maps dude!
BTW - it's great you sorted all this stuff out mate! Welldone!

Original maps - best way is probably just to back up all the modded ones and reinstall (or choose fix on your add/remove progs section).... yea i found this is the best way to do it i agree with ichi, some weps are to powerful in DC and BG needs more ammo, so i first need to download sparkedit and HMT things (as i deleted them a while ago) and ill change starting ammo to 16 or something and also modify the power of the weps in DC.......and also put the old tree portal back anything i missed? catch ya soon MH |
